Frank Church High School is an alternative high school for at-risk students. The school is located on W. Salt Creek Ct. in Boise, Idaho. The school was made from the merge of Mountain Cove High School and Fort Boise Jr. High. Frank Church opened and began the first classes in the year 2008. Since the merging of Fort Boise and Mountain Cove the schools graduation rate has almost doubled from 49% to 76%. It is named after Frank Church, a prominent U.S. Senator from 1957-81, and an alumnus of Boise High School.
In 2008-2009 The Principle was Robert Thompson and the Vice Principles were Sandy Wargo and Cedric Minter. The 2009-2010 Vice Principles were Ted Totorica and Kristen Duskey. In 2010-2011 the current Principle is former Vice Principle Cedric Minter, and the current Vice Principles are Kristen Duskey and Mark Bleazard.
